Here is my "baby" going to her first day of Mother's Day Out! She was so excited to go to school. We'd been talking so much about Lindsey's new school, she was more than ready for her school to start too! She is going one day a week and loves it!

These are the friends that Courtney invited (minus Brandon...he was still sliding I guess). They all just ended up sitting there so it worked out well. Sort of. They would NOT look at me to take a "group" picture, but what do you expect from a bunch of 3 year olds?!?

This was a perfect party! The weather was perfect too! In the sun it was slightly warm, but in the shade it was perfect! We had such a fun time celebrating with Courtney and her friends. We are truly blessed to have sweet friends! I'm thankful for each of you that are part of our lives and love our girls! What would I do without you?! Happy Birthday Courtney! We love you!I have a big birthday weekend to blog about, but it will take me a while with all the pictures I have! Today is a big day too...Lindsey started Preschool! She is going to a place here in Greenwood called Preschool Extroidinaire! I have heard great things and each time I've been it looks like a perfect place for Lindsey to be! I'm thrilled that we are able to send her to school there! This is her at home, just before we left.
Today was so exciting! Lindsey was excited and so was I! I wasn't really emotional because I was ready for her new adventure and she was too! I sort of had a lump in my throat, but nothing big. One thing I wanted to do was to say "school prayers" like my friend Erin told me that they did with their boys. I wasn't sure how the girls would act or what they would think, but when I told them they got quiet. I wasn't sure what to pray. I just prayed for L to have a good day, to have fun, make friends and be safe. When I said "amen" my precious angel in her most sweet voice said, "thank you mom." Oh my word! That lump immediately turned to tears filling my eyes. Not sad tears, but precious daughter happy tears! All I could think was "dry it up!" You don't want to walk in looking like you are upset, because you aren't! Ahhhh! Then Courtney said, "mommy, will you pray for me on my school day?" ahhhh...make them stop the sweetness, my heart and hormones can't handle it!This is Party #2! We had family come for lunch and presents! Ryan grilled burgers and hot dogs! He's a grill master for sure!! This is Lindsey, Courtney and Manuel. This is the little boy (not so little anymore) that Amber's (Taylor's girlfriend) adopted when they found him living with the pigs in the street while they were on mission. It is an amazing story. He was so cute and so sweet. He and the girls had fun playing ball together!
After lunch we opened presents....
This was pretty much "you had to be there" but Lindsey was insistant on taking pictures of Courtney opening her presents. However, it would be like this! "Hold your present up, Courtney. Then L would tell her exactly where to hodl it and how! Notice the "up close" shot L is getting of the present! It took several tries, but she finally got the shot she was needing! Ha!
Courtney got a big girl bike from us. She was so stinkin' excited! I don't have a good picture of her reaction because I wasn't as ready as I thought I was. She was sitting down waiting, and pointed, dropped her mouth open in surprise and popped up! It was priceless!

What do you notice in this picture? My mother in law, Cynda, me and my mom all wore white shirts with black shorts/capris! How funny is that?! I love this picture! It is good of all of us I think!! Pretty funny!
Then as Honey and Grandad were leaving, they wanted a picture with the girls. This is what Lindsey thought about that....
We had fun with all of our family! I'm sorry I don't have pictures of everyone that was there. I need to get some from others to add to it! We had a wonderful family party!Because I know you are all on pins and needles....OCTOBER 7th! That is our date! We will meet this precious baby that morning. My surgery is scheduled for 8:30 and hopefully it will be on time!

This is my friend Lesli! She and I were practically attached at the hip my masters year of school. We were interns together and did our masters paper together! She is from Fort Smith and moved back here a few years before I did. So when we found out we were moving here, she is one of the first people I called! She was also pregnant when I moved here--so she has a little boy 2 months older than Courtney. I'm so glad she came and got to meet some of my Greenwood friends that have heard about my Fort Smith friend, Lesli! :) Ha!

This is my friend Erin! She is due exactly a month after me! She is having her 3rd boy!
Honey was sweet and brought the "big sisters" something to have as their own! They were thrilled and wanted to eat ALL of the candy right away!
My friend Katie! She and I have gotten to be very good friends. If you read this blog much and have seen Scotty, Courtney's friend, this is Scotty's mom!
We realized we had not taken a "hostess" picture and 2 had already gone, but here I am with Katie and Mischelle! Mischelle is a great friend and our kids play together a lot! Her daughter Abi is one of the first friends Lindsey had here! The shower was at her house (most usually are!). She has a perfect set up and lots of room. She is always so kind and so generous to open her home and work hard for the showers that we do for each other! (she's also a master cake maker! I'm sad I didn't take a picture of it!)
Last night was a big reality! Sounds silly at 32 weeks pregnant, but at the same time we haven't really gotten much "ready" for a baby around here! Yes I feel it move. Yes my belly is pretty much HUGE. Yes we have a crib. However, having all of these baby things in our house and having a baby shower makes it so real!
