Valentine's Day...better late than never!

I helped organize Lindsey's class party with Miss Morgan. We played a couple of games, one being a cake walk. It was easy and a big hit! SO fun!

Remember Blake, well, he showed up at the Valentine party with a gift. Just like he told Lindsey he was going to. Luckily only one or two times Lindsey asked to take a gift to him. We decided that in Kindergarten it wasn't time to start buying boys presents.

He gave her this stuffed animal and a small heart box of chocolates!

Valentines Day was on a Monday and Mondays are crazy because the girls have dance/gymnastics, but I wanted to do something special for our family. To show our girls that it isn't just about boys and girls loving each other but that we love our family! So it wasn't perfect like it was in my head, but it was fun and they felt special...I hope!

We had roast, potatoes, green beans, rolls and fruit salad!

DNow 2011

This weekend we are going to be part of what God is doing! I'm so excited! We are a host home for the senior guys for Disciple Now weekend. We've been so blessed to be able to serve and be part of this the last 3 years. It is an awesome time to see God at work and to be challenged to do what He wants us to do! I'm expecting BIG things from our BIG God! I can't wait!

We are stocked up on food. Our little girls (all 3) are going to Ryan's mom's house for the weekend. I've got to get sheets washed tomorrow and some baby toys picked up and out of the way. Then we will be set! I'm excited!

Really Whit?

Every night before I go to bed, I check on all my girls. The other night this is what I saw when I walked in Whitney's room!

Hilarious! So funny! Wonder what would have happened if I had left her this way! I didn't wait and see. I pushed her little legs back through and she stayed asleep. So sweet!

Whitney LOVES shoes!

I wish I had a picture of every time Whitney puts shoes on that aren't hers. I would have so many! It is too cute. She loves shoes! It's so funny how she is so girly already! This is my shoe that she was walking around in one day.

Then yesterday she found some princess shoes in the dress up box. So so so cute! Look at her face! She's so excited!

I love it! She thinks she's so big. She's starting to act so much like a big girl and not a baby! She definitely has an opinion. She doesn't like being told no. She knows what she wants. Her personality is coming out and I am loving it...most of the time! :)

Snow ball fight in shorts!

Sunday we had just patches of snow left in some shaded areas.....

There were TONS of neighborhood kids out playing in the beautiful sunshine. The Costons drove over to hang out in the "hood" with us. It was so fun! I love living here!

Ryan joined in the fun of throwing snowballs. Then of course they all turned on him.

It was fun to watch him with the neighborhood boys. There were more boys than girls out on Sunday, and some big boys too, so they enjoyed chasing Mr. Ryan! He's such a fun dad!

Honey's Birthday!

Saturday we went to Chili's to celebrate Honey's birthday. It was a few days late, but good none the less! Ryan had Upward and Taylor and Amber couldn't come down. So it was just us girls!

We gave Honey a blinged-out Razorback watch. She was so excited! I'm so glad!

Sledding

We borrowed some sleds from the Bartlett Boys and the girls had some fun with their Daddy!

Of course Courtney crashed...but not bad. She thought it was funny!

This was Whitney's only venture out in it. She was NOT sure about it. I'm sort of glad. I'm not a fan of being out in it either!

We had fun in the snow, but I'm so ready for spring! This winter has made me want to move to Florida!

Snow Snow and then some more Snow!

It took us a little while to get bundled up...but they were fired up and ready to go play in the snow. We don't have any sleds and I'm not ready to send them off on the 4 wheeler without Daddy here, so they just had to "play" which is good for them, right?!

They thought it was funny to make tracks and see how deep it is!

Then they were finished....and left me with this....

Telling me they wanted lunch and hot chocolate. I can handle that. Then they want to "go back." Maybe they will stay in for a while and then can go out when Daddy gets home from work! Whitney didn't venture out, she has fever and a double ear infection! :(

What have we been up to?

Many times Whintey spoils me and plays independently. She's loving blocks. She made this "car" and she even makes the car sound, don't remember the other girls doing that at all! So cute! She is very much like Lindsey loving the fine motor things!

Last week Lindsey's class celebrated their 100th day of school! I got a cricket machine and got to use it to cute out these and make cute cupcake toppers! So fun!

On our first snow day this week, we made Valentine cookies.

Today, our 2nd snow day, the Bartlett boys (and Erin) came over. Look at this sweet face! He and Whitney get SO excited to see each other. Whitney says "Bobo" all.the.time! So cute!

Whit loves hats. Evan took his off and before we knew it...she had it on!

They brought Just Dance 2 for the Wii. It was super fun. It took Lindsey a while to "warm up" and get over her shyness...but she did! Courtney was into it from the beginning.

Look at Courtney OWN that move! Ha! She's in her dance leotard because the girls had been playing this morning before they came. A funny story about that is that Blake walked in and asked why she was wearing her swimsuit. Courtney corrected him and told him it was a leotard. He asked, "What?" I guess when you live in a house full of boys, leotard isn't something normal!

Remember the love of hats...she found this on her own. The Hollands came to town and came by for a visit this afternoon. It was fun to play with them. Whitney and Klaire, I think these 2 girls will have a fun together one of these days!

Cousin Love

This was one happy little girl! She was literally in tears at the hospital when we told her that they wouldn't let her go back to the room to see Miah and Landon. She got to see Uncle Kyle when he would come to the waiting room. The rules at the hospital were that you had to be 12 or a sibling...she didn't fit either of those. So we convinced her that she would get to hold Landon soon. So we went up to visit them at home on Sunday!

Whitney was cute. Interested, but luckily not too much. She just enjoyed seeing everyone and broke in some of Landon's toys. :) As we were close to leaving...she became really interested!

We love our little cousin Landon Wade! He's just adorable and we can't wait to see him again soon! It's time like these that make me wish so badly that we lived closer to them! However, we will make many a trip up the mountain to visit!
