Today we celebrated Thanksgiving with my family. Taylor and Amber came down too! What fun! Here is the annual Family picture. Whitney was NOT happy, so you can't see her very well, but you have to take what you can get with a 5 year old, 3 year old and 8 week old! It turned out super cute I think!

Happy Thanksgiving!Wednesday afternoon the girls and I made turkey sugar cookies for our family for Thanksgiving! It was fun for me to watch because I showed them only a couple of times what to do and then let them each do 10 cookies!

Last weekend the big girls went to Honey and Granddad's house! They wanted to take them to see the Christmas lights on the Fayetteville square. They had such a good time and a fun filled weekend for sure! Here are some of the things they did:
Sat. morning mom had a baby shower to go to, so she took the girls with her. They were excited to dress up and go with Honey to see her friends! They had such a good time!
Sat. night they all went to eat at Tim's Pizza (where Uncle Taylor works) and watch the Christmas parade from there.
They got these super cool light sabers! Wow! Courtney knew she wanted pink and Lindsey had such a hard time deciding on her color, even up until the time they were leaving.
Today Lindsey had a program at school and grandparents were invited! They were all excited, but I think that Honey was the most excited. Here they are at school!

Lindsey is going to be an Upward Cheerleader! This is a basketball/cheerleading league at church. It is a pretty big program here in Greenwood. She's gone with Ryan to his practices and games for the past 2 years and loved it. Now that she is 5 she gets to do her part. She could have played basketball or cheered. I know you think I made her, but if you know Lindsey at all you know that she would more than likely choose cheer over ball at this point in her life. I do want her to try it. I did...once! That is all it took for me to realize that it wasn't for me. Ryan agreed that she had plenty of time to try lots of things, so she's doing cheer this year. Saturday I got to take her to her first "clinic." She was cute and fun to watch.

My good friend Erin had her baby this week! Beau Christian Travis Bartlett (yes he has 2 middle names, all 3 of her boys do!) came on Wednesday and is precious! I met him at the hospital Wed. night, but my girls just got to meet him this afternoon!
It is amazing how big Whitney looks to me! I knew she had grown and was obviously not that "newborn" looking anymore, but oh my word...she looked half grown today laying beside Beau! We of course couldn't get them to open their eyes! I'm sure we will have many more times to try! I'm so excited to have a friend to "do this" with! When Lindsey was little, I lived close to Martha. Now God has given me Erin to have fun being a baby momma with! I can't wait....I ordered this today for Whitney! Ever since I was pregnant I seriously thought about this. Crazy I know. I just got new stockings for our family, promising Ryan they would be "forever stockings", when Courtney was born. Well...guess what...matching those and finding a cute one was harder than I realized! I really like this one and it will work perfect with what we have! Now I just have to get it here and monogrammed! Woo hoo!! Can't wait to decorate this year!
Not having a sister myself, I enjoy watching my girls in their relationship with eachother...most of the time. They are really playing together quite a bit. They love to play house, babies, tea parties, school, etc. Most of the time Lindsey is the "boss" of whatever they are playing (mom, teacher, worker) and Courtney just goes with the flow, most of the time! At times they get it worked out and Courtney gets to be the mom, but thakfully she kicks in as the middle child and does whatever she has to do to play with Lindsey. Last week this is what I saw in the toy room! Just precious! I can't wait for Whitney to join in the fun! I have a feeling there will be many a tea party in our future! I love being a girl mommy!
Today this is what they wanted to do. Lindsey got the blanket out and laid down and Courtney joined her, adding all the animals and extra blankets. She has such a sweet heart and caring spirit!
Don't get me wrong, this is not the picture all the time, but it sure is nice when they decide to play together and be BFFs!
I asked a photog friend, Julie, to take some pictures of Whintey for me. When we lived in NWA I used Legacy House Photography and did the baby club--one pic a month for the first year. I put them all in a frame and have that of Lindsey and Courtney. I couldn't not do it of Whitney, so Julie is doing this for me. Here are some that she took. Precious!
This is Lindsey before church on Sunday. She got a new skirt and new jean jacket! She looked so big and so cute!
