She's moved up....

This makes for a crazy morning when we are all trying to get ready! Do you see that face? She's so excited and so proud of herself! Awesome!

I took this picture before she went to school (MDO) yesterday! She looked so big! I had a bow in and of course she will NOT leave them in for even 1 second for a picture! Ugghh.... This picture is blurry because she moved, but it is still pretty stinkin' cute!

She was having a hard time moving in those jeans (don't we all!) so I took them off for her to play! This is where I looked up and saw her!

What Mom?

So proud of herself!

Yes, I had Courtney stand by her (like Courtney was going to keep her safe, more than likely Courtney being the wild child would be the one that would knock her down) so I could grab my camera and then got her down. However, she got back up there IMMEDIATELY and did that over and over. Finally, I had to move this chair to the utility room so I could go get ready and not worry about her climbing in it!

Then this morning, I look in the toy room and here is where I found her....
So I get the crayons and markers all cleaned up, pull the chairs away from the table, thinking that she was using the table to climb, plus at least she couldn't make a mess of the the crayon boxes any more....

But that led to me hearing some big laughs out of her when she did this.....

Seriously. What am I going to do? I've never had a climber! My mom has always talked about how I would climb on things when I was little. So I guess I'm "paying for my raising" with this! I don't know, but it is sort of stressing me out. Used to I could leave her playing, go do something, come back and she'd be there. Not.any.more. Granted she has those moments that she does sit and play and for that I'm thankful. However, now that I know she can climb like this, I won't be able to leave her for 3 seconds! The rocking chair is still in the utility room (which is not a big utility room) so now where am I going to move these chairs?

Enjoying time with my sweet hubby! We are taking our 10 year anniversary trip a few months early! This coming March is our 10 year! We knew we wanted to go somewhere, but decided to do it in the fall instead of at spring break with everyone else! We just booked our trip on Sunday (but have been looking and planning this for several months) and I'm so excited!

This past weekend we had a BIG Hog game. We won't talk about the outcome. However, I had a super cute HOG fan ready to call the Hogs! WOOOOOOOOOO PIG SOOOOOIIIIEEEEEEE!

This morning I caught Whitney doing this:

For years now my mom has said, "I can't believe your girls don't climb on things." Wellll, we now have a climber. Oh.my.word! She climbs on everything. I grabbed my phone quickly, before she fell, and then got her down. So, it's blurry because I was in a hurry and she was moving. She's standing on the "arm" of the bumbo chair and holding on to the fireplace screen.

She's not walking, but she's taken some steps. She seems to take more everyday! I can't believe that we are planning her 1st birthday party!

So, at the bottom click on "older posts" for several pages and you can get caught up with the Scogin Family! I'm going to stay on top of it from now on....I hope!

Just for Fun

The other day Beau came by because Erin had to run an errand really fast. We just hung out outside for a while. The weather was beautiful and so I grabbed my camera!

What does this face say to you? To me it says "Seriously?!"

My Birthday

I had a birthday and Ryan did good to make me feel special. I wish I had taken a picture of my cake. The girls made it with Ryan and "decorated" it themselves. Lots of sprinkles and all!

That night I got to open my present. They were so excited to give it to me! So sweet!

This is what I got! Exactly what I had asked for! They are comfortable and I've pretty much worn them everyday since!

The funny side of this story is that Lindsey and Courtney came home with new shoes too. Ha! They have their daddy right where they want him! Lindsey got some shoes like mine, but are pink plaid. They are too cute. We actually tried to get her to get some last year, but she didn't want them. I guess she wanted to be cool like me! ha! Courtney got some "real" twinkle toes and has worn them everyday!

Taylor ended the night playing with his band, Fayetteville Funk Ensemble. They were great and fun to listen to. The girls had a good time!

The wedding was beautiful. They are such a cute couple. The reception was a blast. My girls looked so pretty. I loved seeing so many family and friends. I can't believe they are married....finally! We are more than thrilled to have Amber in our family!

Mom had her school kids write letters to Taylor and Amber. We decided to ask different people at dinner to read them. It turned out to be super cute. Very funny. Great idea!

Scogin Family + Honey and Grangrad

The dinner was perfect. So nice, yet not too fancy for Taylor and Amber. They like to keep things simple. We left and spent the night with Kyle and Miah. Whitney stayed with MawMaw and Papa for Friday night so that she could go to bed and be rested for the wedding. That was so nice for Ryan and I to be able to enjoy the evening with the big girls!
