July 4th

Last night we celebrated the 4th of July at home! It was nice. Ryan grilled steaks and we had a yummy dinner, just the 4 of us!

After dinner, the Coston clan came over. We had fun shooting fireworks (preschool style) and hanging out for a little bit. We were going to watch the Greenwood fireworks, but it started to thunder and lightning. Plus, we had been on the boat and seen fireworks the night before. So, we stayed home while they headed out for the show.

This picture pretty much sums it up. Lindsey became very unsure of the fireworks. She would hold her sparkler for a little bit, but quickly wanted Ryan to hold it with her. Courtney wanted to hold one too, so they did it together at the end. Lindsey would even try to hold it and stand behind Ryan. So funny. At one point she went inside and stood at the door and watched from inside. I should have taken a picture of that! Silly girl!
