Every year now we dress up and walk through the Chrismtas story. Mom aka Honey types out the narration of it and we perform it. This year we changed up the roles and handed over Mary and Joseph to Taylor and Amber...but no baby news, just time for a change. So, Ryan was a wiseman. Courtney was the angel and Whit was "baby" Jesus.
Lindsey was the narrator. Here's the Angel sharing the good news with Mary....

The shepherds were "so afraid" (we both did this without being prompted...crazy!)
Then the wisemen came bearing gifts...but we didn't see their camels...

As silly as it sometimes seems, I'm glad that my girls have this memory. I'm glad that we can do this instead of reading the story and they can make it personal and really understand what happened. I hope that soon we will have a "real" baby Jesus cousin to continue this tradition with!
